Re: Slow Match rejuvenation?

You didn't mention ii it was one of ours or not. If it is one from us, it should last pretty much indefinitely as long as it's stored dry. Extended moisture is really the only thing that will hurt them. Occasionally you might run into a spot on the match that didn't absorb as much solution as it sho...

Re: Bulk water storage question

You might want to check out pulse pumps or metering pumps to inject chlorine into your system as it's filled. Once treated water should be stable for along time. Stored water will go "flat" in storage and taste can be improved by pouring it back and forth between glasses to add some air back into it...

Re: I am want to meet a good man!

We had like 378 spammers hit us within a two or three day period a couple weeks ago. Most were from Russia. We made some changes and think we got rid of all their posts. This post, well I was sorta hoping they'd come back and amuse us further, lol.

Re: I am want to meet a good man!

I'm going to leave this thread up for the time being since you did attempt to put it in the right category and you came back and posted a second time. Most spammers don't put that much time into their posts. However, I did remove your link in the first post. You can look for friends here but post a ...

Re: Fan location on Solar Furnace

Wouldn't it be better to "push" cool air in, rather than "pulling" hot air out over the fan? Wouldn't the heat promote premature fan failure? You may have a good point but I have no experience with bottom mounting the fans. The fans themselves are designed to be used in computers and seem to stand ...

Re: The Two Stick Hearth Board w/pics

Nice pics! As you pointed out in part two using the two stick method does have a few advantages. Speed in preparation being the biggest I think. Getting two embers is fairly common as well. Often I personally will dump the one on the hearth onto the one that has fallen through and use them as one la...

Re: Streamlight Seige

I've not tried those myself but they look like well built little lights. I'll be interested in your review. I'd like them better if they were 3 or 4 AA batteries instead of 3 "D" cells though. That and 3 spare batteries adds up to some weight.
