C&R FFL came in - what should my first purchase be?

Post by Jer » Wed Jun 19, 2013 6:53 pm

The title says it all - mostly...
Checking through the mail today and I find that my Curio and Relic FFL came in today. Now, I can purchase guns from anywhere and have them shipped directly to my house - as long as the guns are at least 50 years old on the date of purchase or otherwise listed as a Curio & Relic by the ATF or by a museum who certifies them as such.

Mosin Nagents
Old ass 1911s
Enfield 303s... anything as long as it's 50 years old.

Just curious as to what you all would think should be the first purchase I make and have delivered direct to the house.
I'd like to keep it around $500 and under at this point. I've got a diaper fund that I don't want to dig into. 8-)

I’d probably get a pair of SKS’s just because I’ve always wanted to mount a pair in tandem with 75rd drums and a crank. I know, I don’t have much of an imagination, lol.

Cool that you got your curio though. I suspect with some looking I’d find some pretty cool old guns. I’m just not to familiar with them now. Let us know what you end up with!
